Lego WEDO projects underway in fifth class.
Children from 5th class took part in Bizworld on Thursday and Friday. This is a programme aimed at promoting entrepreneurship skills in children. Aoife McDonagh from Bank of Ireland facilitated the workshops. The children came up with many creative business ideas. Fifth Class pupils had a wonderful afternoon recently in our school garden! Mr. Murray bought mint, rosemary, rhubarb, lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, and bedding plants for the pupils to plant. Our fantastic student teachers, Maria and Cian, gave great advice, guidance and support to the pupils and ensured that it was an informative and fun experience.

We began working with Lego today. We built models of a Science Rover and wrote code to get out models to move. We look forward to next week's challenge!
