🌟Monthly Assembly🌟

Today we gathered on the astro turf to celebrate our monthly assembly. Since our last get together the seasons have changed but the winter sun was beaming down on us casting great shadows, as you can see from our feature image.

The focus of our assembly today was remembering and saying a little prayer for people who have gone to heaven and to also pray for people we know that may be unwell – ‘In November we Remember’. 🙏

We also spoke about science week and Mr Ruane mentioned, in particular, the great scientists & chemists that work so hard to develop vaccines and medicines, hand sanitisers and soaps – so appropriate for the times we are living in. Ms Daly also encouraged the teachers to teach about Louis Pasteur – a French chemist who was known as ‘the father of the germ theory’.

Congratulations to all our ‘Students of the Month’ . You are brilliant.👏👏👏 Our Junior Class of the Month was Ms Power’s Junior Infants & our Senior Class of the Month was Ms Corrigan’s 6th Class . Keep up the great effort.

Mr Ruane congratulated all the children for their great behaviour and manners.

We are already looking forward to our November assembly.  🌟
