There was a lot of fun in our school this morning. Co. Clare CYPSC and Healthy Ireland brought the wonderful Imagination Playground equipment to our school. The mission of Imagination Playground is to encourage child-directed, unstructured and creative “free play”. This is the kind of play that experts say is critical to a young child’s intellectual, social, physical and emotional development. This equipment consists of over sized blocks, etc., that are designed to bring fun and enjoyment into learning. They encourage sharing, collaboration, social development and physical development.
