Congratulations to 6th class who celebrated their graduation on Tuesday night. Fr. Tom very kindly blessed the class which was followed by a presentation from the Board of Management and the Parents Association. This lead to the final of the schools final of The John Burns Debating League. We were very lucky to have John join us for the night as one of the adjudicators. John presented the winning captain of the team with the perpetual trophy with a few words of advise provided to the departing students. The winner of the end of year essay was also announced. The celebrations were followed up with a barbeque thanks to the Parents association. A great end to a great 8 years of Barefield National School to the pupils of 6th class.
