Our pupils from The Blossom and Bloom class returned to school this morning and it was very exciting seeing our friends, teachers and SNAs. Mr. Burns and Rony were there aswell to help us.

We had a special visitor in our classroom when we came to school today. An elf was sitting up on top of the whiteboard. The pupils have named him 'Elfie'. Elfie is a kind and well behaved elf. It will be great fun to have him in our room until the Christmas holidays.
It was Science Week last week. Junior Infants are learning all about light this month. The children shared what their favourite colour is. The children have been working really well in their maths since they started school. They have been matching, sorting and doing lots of counting games and exercises. This week was Maths week and the children enjoyed sorting activities and playing matching games.
We have been busy working on our sorting skills in Junior Infants. We have sorted a variety of different items into sets according to their size, type, colour... etc. We had lots of fun doing this.
