In class we learned about potatoes and how they grow. This made us very hungry.... so we decided to make our own potato chips!! We wrote out a recipe and followed the instructions. We even peeled our own potatoes. And then we enjoyed the delicious chips! They were YUM! Mr. Burns got some too!

At this time of year, all our pupils have settled back to school after a most enjoyable Summer Holiday. A warm welcome to all our new pupils and new staff.

Congratulations to Barefield National School indoor hurlers who were runners up at the Cuman na mBunscoil indoor hurling league. A great article in last week’s Clare Champion newspaper. The team received their medals at assembly last week. Well done to all involved.
