This week is Ireland’s fifth Climate Action Week (October 11th to 17th).

As part of Climate Action Week, the Green Schools Committee constructed a bug hotel so that we can play our part in increasing biodiversity in the area.

The Green Schools Committee is calling on all pupils to become more aware of air pollution and make a special effort this week to reduce it by walking, cycling or scooting to school this week, where possible.

Tomorrow, Ms Collins’ and Ms. Kilcawley’s classes will be logging on to listen to author, Oisín McGann read and discuss his story: ‘We Want Our Park Back’. Pupils will have the opportunity to ask Oisín some questions and complete a drawing activity and book review.
