February Assembly

There was a real sense of Spring today as we gathered in the glorious sunshine for our monthly assembly. Spring marks new beginnings and growth and now that school life is getting back to normal a new sense of hope was definitely in the air.

The focus of our assembly today was one of celebration and happiness as the children are now able to play with their whole class group and masks are no longer a requirement. Mr Mc Mahon encouraged the children to remember our key messages from ‘Friendship Week’ to play fair, be nice and make sure we include everyone in our games.

Ms Daly spoke about ‘Seachtain na Gaeilge’ and encouraged all the children to ‘Labhair Gaeilge’ as much as possible and to take pride in all things Irish – music, song, dance & language.

Congratulations to all our Students of the Month – you are stars. 👏🌟A big well done to our Classes of the Month too – Mr Murray’s Senior Infants, Ms Kilcawley’s 1st Class, Ms Morey’s 4th Class & Ms Corrigan’s 6th Class. Enjoy your rewards.
