As part of our efforts to obtain our 7th Green Flag, our Rang VI pupils, fully equipped, ventured to Quilty Beach, where we cleaned the beach, collecting all types of rubbish and plastics. The renowned environmentalist, Carmel Madigan, taught our pupils about our marine eco-systems and the work being done to save them. It was a beautiful sunny day full of happy memories. Our pupils gained enormously from this educational and environmental marine experience.
