Our Graduation Ceremony was a most memorable and enjoyable evening for both parents and pupils. Our programme commenced with our choir entertaining the large number of parents in the halla. Mass was celebrated by Fr. Jerry Carey, following which Graduation Certificates were presented by John Casey, Chairperson, Board of Management. Rang VI class photographs were presented by Tríona McInerney, Chairperson, Parents’ Association. Mahia Rahman won the Desmond Grennan cup for creative writing which was presented by John Burns, school Principal. The school debate proved very exciting with Conor Murphy’s team being successful over Alice Montwill’s team. Carole Frawley, Treasurer Board of Management presented the debating teams with their trophies.  Áine Moynihan and Mahia Rahman were presented by Peadar McMahon with certificates for 100% attendance for 2017-2018 while Clodagh Geraghty was awarded a certificate for the unique achievement of 100% attendance for her 8 years in Barefield N.S. from 2010 to 2018. The pupils’ gymnastic display was most energetic and enjoyed by all. The evening concluded with a delicious barbecue, kindly organised by our Parents’ Association and enjoyed by all in the glorious sunshine.
