Today was a most exciting and entertaining morning when our junior classes performed to a packed audience of parents and grandparents in our halla. All our pupils excelled in singing, dancing, acting and recitations. Our Playschool performed Songs and Rhymes. Our Junior Infants dramatised ‘The Gingerbread Man’ and our Senior Infants performed ‘Chicken Licken’. At the end of these performances our pupils received a standing ovation from our packed halla. Our amazing award winning choir sang songs from the musical ‘The Greatest Showman’ while our renowned Céilí Band played many reels and jigs. Our school Principal, John Burns, thanked everyone for coming and in particular the staff and pupils of our junior school. A most enjoyable and memorable morning in our school.
