Barefield National School Choir hit all the right notes at this year’s Limerick Choral Festival. The competition took place on March 1st in the Redemptorist Church Limerick and Barefield N.S. were the proud winners of first place. The 48 strong choir performed two songs: “Can You Hear Me?” and “Circle of Life” under the direction of Kate Corrigan, accompanied by Fiona Walsh and also assisted by Claire Kelly. It was fantastic achievement with choirs from Clare, Limerick and Tipperary competing. It was a most enjoyable, unforgettable experience for all our pupils.
