Children from first to sixth classes in Barefield National School participate in a swimming module at Ennis Leisure Complex. Children from third to sixth classes also get the opportunity to take part in an end of year Swimming Gala. Barefield School has captured the best large school swimming trophy at this gala each year from 2013 to 2015.
