Despite showery conditions, our sports day was most exciting between sunshine and showers. Sports Day commenced with our pre-school children running a race on our astro-turf. Pupils participated in sprints, long races, relays, sack races, three-legged races, obstacle courses, egg and spoon race, high jump and long jump entertaining the large number of parents in attendance. Our bouncing castle proved a major attraction. Many thanks to all our parents who volunteered to assist with stewarding and in organising a most successful day. Our Parents’Association kindly provided a shop with many goodies and treats. It was a most enjoyable, sporting day for all. Everyone went home tired, slightly wet but very happy!
