The Final of the 6th class debating league was held in the school today. Both teams debated the motion ‘Primary School Children should not have a mobile phone.’ Both teams were of a very high standard and the opposing team emerged victorious. Mr. John Burns got a big surprise when he was presented with ‘The John Burns Debating League’ cup. Today the winning captain was Niamh Mescall. Well done to everyone today.
