Ms Baker and Ms. Clune’s 5th classes and Ms. Corrigan and Mr Chambers’ 6th classes held a virtual author visit through Zoom yesterday. The author was Ronan Moore who has written an adventure story called ‘Young Fionn’ for 8-12 year olds based on the stories of Fionn McCumhaill and Na Fianna. Ronan read excerpts from the book and hosted a Q&A session with the students afterwards. It was really enjoyable and a great learning experience about Irish legends and the work of an author. The book sounds like a great Christmas present and thanks to Mr. Frawley and Fergal O’Dulaing of Ennis Bookshop for organising.
