Active School Flag (ASF) is a Department of Education and Skills initiative supported by Healthy Ireland. The award recognises schools that strive to achieve a physically educated and physically active school community. On Friday, June 25th Fiona McHale, Evaluator, for the Active Schools Programme visited our school. She met with school Principal, John Burns and Active Schools Committee, Mary O’Connor, Seán Burns and Leo Duggan. She also met with our Active Schools Pupils committee who showed her around our school and told all about the exciting projects all our pupils undertake during the year to keep active and healthy. It was a great day.
