We did it!

After many months of running we have reached (and passed) our running target of 5,000km, the equivalent of the journey from Barefield N.S. to New York City.

We began our journey in March 2017 and have been holding a Fun Run each month. Each class participated in the event, from Junior Infants to Sixth class.

We would like to say an enormous ‘Thank you’ to the members of the Active Schools Committee, as without them the Fun Run would not have been possible. They guided the participants around the 500m loop of the school to ensure the safety of the younger children and also gave encouragement when the going got tough.

We will be revealing a new running surprise in the coming days….stay tuned!!
