Today marked a very special day in Barefield National Schools’ history, as our Principal Mr. John Burns celebrated 40 years in Barefield National School.
We marked the special occasion, by celebrating our schools opening year prayer service. The pupils from the student council recited prayers of the faithful and we thanks Mr. Burns and the staff for all their hard work over the summer to make sure our school could open safely in September to all students. Then as a big surprise to Mr. Burns we surprised him with a cake and some congratulations cards from each class.
Congratulations Mr. Burns and wishing you many more wonderful happy years in our school.
