We are very proud here in Barefield National School of one our teachers, Mr. Leo Duggan who was part of the St.Josephs Doora Barefield football team who won the Intermediate county final last Sunday in Cusack Park Ennis. They played a very strong team Corofin team who were leading right up until the final few minutes. But in the end the score was 1-16 to 2-08.
Congratulations to all the team and especially to all the past pupils and parents involved with the team.
