Today, we invited all grandparents, step-grandparents or special grand-friends to a special celebration in our school. Grandparents were welcomed by the music of our traditional musicians before visiting their grand children’s classrooms. From 9.30a.m. to 10.30a.m., they met their grandchildren’ teachers and were entertained by music, poetry, song and dance. At 10.30a.m., our grandparents attended Mass in our halla, celebrated by Fr. Jerry Carey. Our choir and Community Games singers sang beautiful songs both during and after Mass. Before leaving for home, our grandparents enjoyed a cup of tea, kindly organised by our Parents’ Association. It was a memorable and enjoyable day for all.
