In autumn the children enjoyed engaging in Visual Arts. Drawing trees, using the colours of brown, orange, yellow and green the children had to paint an autumn themed drawing. Another challenging art lesson was the use of the interactive white board to display an animal or animals associated with autumn i.e. hedgehog & red squirrel. The children had to draw from observation with Mr Frawley modelling the drawing in various steps on the white board with his artistic skill set. The process was enjoyed by all while the finished drawings and painting were displayed for all to enjoy. At the end of art class pupils were encouraged to look and respond to other pupils’ work. The reviews were positive and the art critics were reasonable with their judgement !
