Congratulations to the pupils who received the sacrament of Confirmation today 28-08-2021. Thank you to Fr. Joy, the Staff of Barefield Ns and everyone who helped to make this day very special for everyone.

Third class enjoyed a fantastic day kayaking on Ballyalla Lake, facilitated by Clare Water Sports. The children experienced kayaking, paddle boarding and diving from the pontoon. On Friday Junior Infants put on a performance of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. The children have been working very hard over the last couple of weeks learning their lines and songs. This morning, as part of the Creative Schools programme, the two first classes were lucky enough to have a music lesson with Elvie Miller. 1st & 2nd class had a brilliant school tour to Bunratty on Friday 18th. The folk park was full of fun and exciting things to see and do - from the castle tour, to the Fairy Trail, the playground and the stroll around looking at all the cottages and schoolhouse brought us back in time. [...]
Today pupils from Rang I and Rang II went on their school tour to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. First the children explored the castle, including The Main Guard, the Earl's Bedroom and the Great Hall where the Earl gave his judgements while sitting in his Chair of Estate.
