The boys and girls in second class came up with some fantastic inventions and creations for our Science Week project where they had to create and make a musical instrument. The pupils really excelled and used their creative and ingenious skills to make fantastic and interesting instruments. Well done to all!!!
6th class investigated materials for Science Week 2020. We made a non-newtonian fluid using cornflour & water - apply pressure & it's a solid, let it relax and it's a liquid. We also investigated what happens when you combine an acid and a base and used it to make Carbon Dioxide.

6th class were exploring Materials and Change for Science Week 2020. We explored different powders, and even made our own butter and ice-cream!
This week is Science Week and we have been learning all about sound, vibrations and sound waves. We completed the paper cup/phone experiment and the rice/drum experiment. Each pod also picked a scene and created their own sound effects to suit the scene using cubes, paper, plastic, pasta, rice and various other materials.
