Today in Junior and Senior infants they got a special treat from a past pupil Heidi Liddy who visited the infant classrooms and played some music for the pupils. A very welcome treat for Monday morning!
Huge congratulations to all the pupils from Barefield National School who were part of the team who retained the titles of National Beach Junior Nipper Champions and overall National Nipper Champions in Kilkee on Saturday 25th August 2018. After our fantastic Summer Holidays, our school will re-open Thursday, August 30th @ 9.20 a.m. We look forward to meeting all our regular pupils and a 'céad míle fáilte' awaits all our new pupils.

Our school calendar for 2018-2019 is now uploaded. Days highlighted in 'orange' and 'yellow' are closures-holidays. School re-opens on Thursday, August 30th @ 9.20 a.m. In the meantime have a lovely summer and a most enjoyable holiday.
Our Graduation Ceremony was a most memorable and enjoyable evening for both parents and pupils. Our programme commenced with our choir entertaining the large number of parents in the halla. Senior Infants had a fantastic trip to the village peace garden and the Church of The Immaculate Conception. When they returned they had a teddy bears picnic in the shade!
