Ms. Róisín Garvey visited the school recently to meet with our committee and complete an inspection on behalf of Green-Schools Ireland. The children thoroughly enjoyed the visit and were thrilled to show off their work and discuss ‘green issues’ with Róisín. The school will be awarded its seventh Green-Flag at the Green-Flag Awards Ceremony in Galway on May 22nd. The committee members and coordinators, Ms. Collins and Mr. Chambers, were delighted to have their photo taken in front of the pupils’ beautiful daffodils, planted earlier this year. Our third hardworking coordinator, Ms. Power, is unfortunately absent from the photographs.
