As it was Maths Week this week we had a game of Battle Ship on Friday. It was very engaging and there was lots of excitement and fun had. The pupils had to input their three ships on a grid. There were 16 places available on the grid. The horizontal axis was ABCD while the vertical axis had 1234. The aim of the game was to identify the grid coordinates of the other pods’ ships. During the game the pods beside each played against each other then as the game progressed pods were knocked out until the final two pods fired coordinates at each other. The winning team had one ship left and managed to make it to port as victors just before the lunch bell rang. Congratulations to all pods on a wonderful game where the battle of wits and a bit of luck won out !
