Pupils of Rang a III participated in the Explorers Education Programme and completed projects to raise awareness on the dangers of plastic in the oceans, seas and the rocky shore. Each pupil created plastic fishes using plastic collected from the seas and beaches around Clare.
The pupils also created their own sea gardens and learned about the different sea creatures, animals and fishes that inhabit our rocky shores.
Many thanks to Carmel Madigan for all her hard work and kindness. Her excellent resources and her vast knowledge on the marine environment made this programme a great success. It was enjoyed by all.
