There was great excitement in Junior Infants on Wednesday morning when Garda David paid a visit to our class. He drove into the junior yard in the Garda van. Garda David told the children all about his uniform. The children tried on his Garda hat and vest. Garda David put his handcuffs on all the children. They were able to escape without using the key! The children asked him many interesting questions. Two of Garda David’s colleagues arrived in the patrol car. The children put a call into the Ennis Garda station using the walkie talkie. All the children then went into the Garda van and Garda David put on the siren. He brought colouring pages for everyone and all got a beautiful gold medal with the Garda crest on it for being so good. Big thanks to Garda David for visiting our class. Ben was really proud of his dad!
