Barefield School is striving to achieve an Active School Flag. Mr McMahon Miss O’Connor and Claire Kelly will be coordinating the school’s efforts towards achieving this flag. They have established an Active Schools Committee consisting of children from fourth, fifth and sixth classes. The aim is to encourage children to lead a healthy and active lifestyle. The school will organise an active schools week in May along with a number of other events throughout the school year.
