Green Fingers in Fifth Class
Fifth Class pupils had a wonderful afternoon recently in our school garden! Mr. Murray bought mint, rosemary, rhubarb, lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, and bedding plants for the pupils to plant. Our fantastic student teachers, Maria and Cian, gave great advice, guidance and support to the pupils and ensured that it was an informative and fun experience.

Our Rang V and Rang VI pupils are still buzzing with excitement from their memorable and educational tours to Zimmer Biomet in Shannon. We began working with Lego today. We built models of a Science Rover and wrote code to get out models to move. We look forward to next week's challenge!

Snow Covered Barefield N.S.
It was wonderland in our school for the last few days as our school was covered with a blanket of snow. Children were allowed to stay at home and snowmen were spotted in every garden. Magical memories of snow for all our families.
Engineering Week
Ms. Moore announced at February Assembly that Engineering Week in our school will be from Monday March 5th to Friday March 8th. Teachers and pupils will undertake lots of interesting challenges from dissecting computers to robotics to learning about the composition of roads.
