Our Hallwe'en Party truly lived up to all expectations this year. We had fairies, princes and pupils dressed in the most creative and fun costumes roaming our classrooms and corridors. Bhain gach duine sár taitneamh as an lá. A huge 'bualadh bos' to all who made such a spooktacular effort!
A wonderful morning was had by all pupils and even some parents of our school!! Many thanks to our parents association for organising today's coffee morning and raffle.

Today in Junior and Senior infants they got a special treat from a past pupil Heidi Liddy who visited the infant classrooms and played some music for the pupils. A very welcome treat for Monday morning!
Huge congratulations to all the pupils from Barefield National School who were part of the team who retained the titles of National Beach Junior Nipper Champions and overall National Nipper Champions in Kilkee on Saturday 25th August 2018. Our Graduation Ceremony was a most memorable and enjoyable evening for both parents and pupils. Our programme commenced with our choir entertaining the large number of parents in the halla. At Assembly today, the Frank Burns Memorial trophy was presented to Francis Meaney, Captain of the winning hurling team by Seán Burns. In glorious sunshine our pupils got a great surprise today when the ice cream van came to visit us. Each pupil got a huge 99. Some staff members were even seen enjoying the occasion. Many thanks to our hard working Parents' Association for organising this wonderful treat.
