Congratulations to Tahaa Aamer on winning the Christmas Chocolate Hamper during our Christmas Assembly raffle. The beautiful hamper was kindly donated by Ciarán Burns, Patrick McInerney, Dean Ryan and Frank Melody, who recently ran the New York City Marathon to raise funds for Temple Street Children's Hospital. Barefield N.S. musicians, singers and dancers went on our annual trip to Clarecastle Day-Care Centre. Our pupils entertained the elderly for an hour and even enjoyed some lovely singing by our hosts. It is a timely reminder for us all that we need to look out for our older neighbours over the upcoming Christmas period. [...]
