Indoor hurling

Congratulations to Barefield National School indoor hurlers who were runners up at the Cuman na mBunscoil indoor hurling league.  A great article in last week’s Clare Champion newspaper.  The team received their medals at assembly last week. Well done to all involved.

Active School Flag Raising Cermony

National Nipper Championships

Huge congratulations to all the pupils from Barefield National School who were part of the team who retained the titles of National Beach Junior Nipper Champions and overall National Nipper Champions in Kilkee on Saturday 25th August 2018.  Pupils from the school won gold, silver and bronze in the sprint events, flags, swim and boards.  Well [...]

Visit of Fiona McHale

Active School Flag (ASF) is a Department of Education and Skills initiative supported by Healthy Ireland.
