Our Over the Rainbow Playschool  offers children a stimulating and enjoyable learning experience while also treating each child as an individual.

Curriculum includes a variety of activities encouraging active learning, problem solving, effective communication, creativity and socialisation. These activities include: Imaginative Play, Arts & Craft, Musical Activities, Creative Play, Constructive and Energetic Play.  All  activities are underpinned by the principles of Siolta and Aistear, the National Quality Framework for the Early Years in Ireland.

Mary Collins, our Playschool Leader states:

We recognise how important high-quality early childhood experiences can be in children’s lives. We will build a foundation for learning so that each child will be given an opportunity to explore the world around them.  We will identify and expand the children’s emergent interests and develop learning in a fun and imaginative way.  We will provide experiences and activities which support learning and allow children to actively explore, to experience, to make choices and decisions.  Our goal is that each child will become a confident and competent learner. We aim to give children a good start which will benefit their long-term success in life.
