Ms Baker and Ms. Clune's 5th classes and Ms. Corrigan and Mr Chambers' 6th classes held a virtual author visit through Zoom yesterday. After reading about Manga drawings in our English book, we tried them out in class. We following an online tutorial and created very unique portraits. We found it a little difficult but still very enjoyable! Manga is a typically Japanese way of drawing comics and graphic novels. We hope you enjoy looking at our drawings.
We have been using the Sportshall Athletics equipment from Clare Sports Partnership for the last few weeks. We are improving our jumping skills. We are also working on our throwing skills.

This week pupils in Fifth and Sixth classes have been working hard on their entries for the Cleaner Air Poetry Competition. This year's theme is 'My Journey to School'. We are looking forward to hearing all of their fabulous poems!
