It was wonderland in our school for the last few days as our school was covered with a blanket of snow. Children were allowed to stay at home and snowmen were spotted in every garden. Magical memories of snow for all our families.
Ms. Moore announced at February Assembly that Engineering Week in our school will be from Monday March 5th to Friday March 8th. Teachers and pupils will undertake lots of interesting challenges from dissecting computers to robotics to learning about the composition of roads.
After many months of running we have reached (and passed) our running target of 5,000km, the equivalent of the journey from Barefield N.S. to New York City. We began our journey in March 2017 and have been holding a Fun Run each month. Each class participated in the event, from Junior Infants to Sixth class. [...]
