Green Schools Committee 2019

Members of the Green Schools Committee met this week to start planning our work for the coming year. This year we will be applying for our eighth Green Flag- Global Citizenship: Marine Environment. The Committee will be speaking at the November Assembly and we are also organising a talk for the infant classes.

All Ireland Surf Life Saving Champions

Congratulations to the pupils from Barefield National School who were part of the Clare team that participated in the All Ireland Surf Life Saving Competition in Mullaghmore, Co. Sligo.   Both the Junior and Nipper teams from Co. Clare were the overall 2019 National Beach champions.

Fleadh 2019

Tigh na Coille groups and bands had a great summer 2019. We had great help with arrangements and tutoring from Elvie Miller, Heidi & Brenn Liddy along with Derek Hickey and Eimear Coughlan. Moylussa Adventure
